Temperature Control and Temperature Display:
The temperature control system is composed of a temperature controller and PTC temperature-sensing elements installed at the hottest spot of the product, i.e., the upper end of the low-voltage winding. It realizes temperature measurement and control of the transformer. If the transformer winding temperature becomes excessively high due to overload operation or faults, the temperature controller will issue an alarm signal. When the temperature exceeds the safe value, it will automatically trip. In the case of forced air cooling, the temperature controller determines the activation or switching of the cooling fans based on the winding temperature.
The temperature display system directly shows the hot-spot temperature of the windings during the transformer's operation and can be used in conjunction with the temperature control system. Both the temperature control and temperature display systems can be installed at a certain distance from the main transformer body. The lead lengths of their temperature-sensing elements are as follows:
